Who is to say what is delusional or not? Don't we all create our own realities?

I do understand the philosophical view that we all create out own realities, even the view on this that attempts to include quantum mechanics. Reality exists on a spectrum. On the one end of the spectrum, you can believe that you are "strong" and this attitude can actually affect your strength, thus creating your own reality in a sense. On the other end of the spectrum, you can believe you are invincible and jump in front of a bus that is traveling at full speed––and be dead. Our created illusions/delusions can only take us so far as long as they cannot be shattered by reality. We must accept the shared realities of our world or suffer the very real consequences.
